That’s why we’re dedicated to being good citizens and aid our Pittsburgh community. Our social responsibility strategy was created to make sure we’re working to see a better tomorrow.

Green Initiatives

Corrigan Moving is dedicated to partnering with our environment by creating sustainable business practices. Here are a few of the ways that we are devoted to the mission:

• Recycle and reuse used materials, oil, and equipment
• Energy-saving equipment and lighting is installed at our facilities
• Implement GPS tracking technology on our fleet of trucks to increase fuel efficiency
• Use of compostable packing materials
• Efficiently plan transportation routing and shipment loads to reduce emissions

Scholarship Program

Corrigan Moving is dedicated to growth through education. We provide a scholarship to all current secondary-education students that are employed with Corrigan Moving as a mover during the summer months when they are off from school. With this benefit each student-employee can be guaranteed up to a $1000 scholarship by signing on and following through with their summer employment.

 

 

Community Involvement

Collaboration in our community is not only very important, it is also the most enjoyable part of what we do. Every Corrigan location is involved in community events that speak to their local needs. We work to be admirable corporate citizens by volunteering our time, trucks and financial resources to our communities.

Disaster Relief & Recovery

Most recently, several of our location assisted with relief efforts following the tornados in Kentucky. Corrigan Moving provided tractor-trailers, drivers, and labor to transport several truckloads of supplies to Kentucky. These truckloads included wet wipes, formula, non-perishable food, socks, water, and numerous other supplies. This video highlights the efforts from just one of the branches that participated.
